Our Story
What we created for each other is now what we offer to every woman who’s ready to start.
Spark Media Concepts began the way so many great ideas do. Sitting around a kitchen table talking about big crazy dreams and brainstorming ideas to make them happen.
Jennifer started blogging in 2013 after adopting her daughter, determined to build a business that would allow her to be home with her growing family. What began as a simple food blog turned into a thriving business, and a few years later, she found herself in need of help.
That’s where Amy came in, quite literally next door, in 2016. What started as a neighborly connection turned into a working relationship when Amy stepped in as Jennifer’s assistant and got a behind-the-scenes look at what it really takes to build a blogging business. At the time, Amy was sharing her story on Instagram with no intention of starting a blog. Jennifer saw her potential and encouraged her to dream bigger and put fear aside.

In 2017, with Jennifer’s support, Amy launched her blog, and everything changed. They quickly realized that the support and partnership they’d found in each other was exactly what so many other women were missing.
So they created it.
Spark Media Concepts was born from the idea that no one should have to figure it out alone.
Today, we continue to run our own blogs- Slow Cooker Gourmet, Garnished Plate and Love Your Body Well– while helping other women build their own blog-based businesses from the ground up.
Because we know what it’s like to start from scratch and we know how powerful it can be when you don’t have to do it alone.
