Ultimate Blog Bootcamp Success Story: Cynthia Christensen
SHOW NOTES: Episode 75
Today, we are excited to chat with one of our old Ultimate Blog Bootcamp students, Cynthia Christensen, about where she is now in her blogging journey.
The Ultimate Blog Bootcamp is a course that we have designed to help those who are wanting to start a blog or who have started but need extra help.
On today’s episode, Cynthia shares how she got started in blogging and found a love of cooking. We talk about how she naturally fell into the blogging lifestyle, how well her blog is currently doing, and how blogging is a continuous learning process because there is something new to learn everyday. Cynthia shares how she learned to shift the way she did things by listening to advice from others, the importance of taking yourself seriously and having confidence in yourself, and assuming the answer is always “yes “and acting accordingly when it comes to new opportunities. We also chat about not putting all of your eggs in the social media basket because you have no control over what happens with your account, how the measure of success is not how many followers you have but in how good your content is and the revenue you can bring in from the number of people going to your blog, and how Cynthia has made connections with followers from all over the world.
The beautiful thing about food is that it is not only a gift to yourself and your family, but it is also a gift to the people who come to your blog and are able to bless their families too. The impact of the things you create are far greater than you could ever imagine. We love how Cynthia has connected with people by embracing what her followers enjoy and made it about her enjoyment too because this is something she is passionate about.
This was a great conversation with Cynthia! We are so happy to have run into her a few months ago at the Tastemaker Conference and love hearing where she is on her journey now.
