Should you have your blog on a self-hosted website? What does that mean and why is it important? Today, we are breaking it down for you and sharing why it is important that your blog is on a self-hosted website. 

Some advantages to a self-hosted website would be:

• You have freedom and control over the design and function of your site
• You can monetize easier on a self-hosted website. A lot of ad networks require that you are on a self-hosted website).
• You’re not limited to a specific hosting company.

Some things to consider:

• Self-hosted sites are not quite as simple so you are going to likely want support — we are happy to help you with this.
