The Blueprint for Creating E-books with Jordan Smith
SHOW NOTES: Episode 64
We are so excited to welcome back Jordan Smith to the podcast!
Jordan is a former student of the Ultimate Blog Bootcamp, a course that we have designed to help those who are wanting to start a blog or who have started but need extra help, and is now a successful full-time blogger. She is here to share how a simple idea can become a business opportunity.
On today’s episode, Jordan gives a brief summary of how blogging on the side set her on a journey to becoming a successful full-time blogger. We talk about listening to your audience and understanding what they want to know more about and creating parts of your business that will serve your audience in that way. Jordan shares why you shouldn’t wait to become an expert before sharing anything because if you wait until you are an expert, you might miss out on opportunities to share what you are most passionate about and you never know what people are going to find helpful and enjoy. We talk about the process Jordan went through when deciding to create an e-book for her community, how she took action and set deadlines to accomplish her goal, and how she was open to feedback to improve her product along the way.
We’re all learning new things all the time, so it’s okay to try whatever you feel inspired to do, even if you don’t have it all figured out. You never know if your ideas and your own experiences will inspire your audience.
We love staying connected with Jordan after all these years. This conversation with her was so inspirational to us and we hope she inspires you as well! We want to hear how this episode helped you by continuing the conversation over on Instagram (@sparkmediaconcepts). We’d love to hear from you!
