Simplifying Creating Content
SHOW NOTES: Episode 41
It’s Amy today and I’m here for a solo. A common question we get from students is “How will I know what to continue talking about?” or “Am I going to run out of things to talk about?” Today I am going to be talking with you about simplifying creating content.
It does not have to be hard. I know it can feel that way when you sit down to write content but I want to help you break this down so that it is not difficult. I’m going to be going through the ways you can simplify this so that you don’t feel stuck when creating that content for your blog.
I want you to think about what, what was the information you needed when you started to research on your specific niche?
What kind of support did you need during that time? That is the content that you need to put on your blog.
When you think about that topic, think about how you can break it down into several blog posts. You can take one topic and break it down even further into 10 different blog posts. Remember, the basic information is so important too. Break it down for your readers.
When thinking about each blog post, remember you can break a blog post down into several Instagram posts, a Pinterest post, a podcast episode. The possibilities are endless on how you can use that one blog post to create more content.
You also want to think about creating cornerstone content.
Cornerstone content is important because essentially you’er going to have these basic posts that link to other posts that you’re going to write as you continue to share content. There are going to be so many topics and ideas that will come from that cornerstone content.
We are constantly changing and learning new things. There will be so many new ideas that come to you as you continue to learn new things. This will help when creating content.
Lastly, I want you to remember no value is too small.
You have value and your journey has value and it can absolutely help someone else. Don’t discount what you know. Know you have a purpose and never underestimate that. You can truly impact the life of somebody else with your blog.
