Pinterest Predictions for 2024 with Kate Ahl
SHOW NOTES: Episode 115
Let’s talk Pinterest!
With Pinterest ever-changing, it’s important to stay up to date. These are always popular episodes and we have Kate Ahl from Simple Pin Media to share more about her Pinterest predictions for 2024. We dive deeper into the platform’s expansion, its user demographics, and more on e-commerce.
Face-to-camera videos, similar to those on Instagram stories, are performing well on Pinterest. You can use tools to help you with this to make it easier to add in on Pinterest. Repurposing can help us reach users without creating entirely new content.
Creating pins that lead to landing pages for email list sign-ups or affiliate products can be rewarding. It’s important to provide more context to cold audiences on Pinterest. Avoid pop-ups and focus on creating a landing page that gives users a reason to trust you and opt-in or make a purchase.
Remember, Pinterest is not about instant gratification. It’s about building long-term relationships with users who may not be ready to commit immediately. As content creators, we should focus on creating content that will serve our audience in the long run, rather than seeking quick wins.
As we navigate ever-changing Pinterest, remember to focus on one strategy at a time.
By focusing on our strategy, you can continue to leverage Pinterest as a powerful tool for blogging and content creation.
