SHOW NOTES: Episode 104
We have Cynthia Samanian from The Culinary Boss™ on to share more about her journey from finance and tech to food blogging and culinary business. Cynthia is the founder of The Culinary Boss, where she helps experienced solopreneurs grow their multi-dimensional dream businesses. She shares the importance of having a core revenue stream and understanding how to monetize before branching out into other areas. She advised against trying to do too many things at once and encouraged focusing on one thing and seeing it through.
Cynthia also discussed the importance of keeping the business funnel simple. The key elements of the funnel are attracting the ideal customer, engaging and building trust with them, and converting them into buying the product or service being offered. These foundational principles remain constant, even though there may be other moving parts in the business.
One of the key takeaways from our conversation was the importance of connecting with your audience and gathering feedback to improve your content and offerings.
Cynthia shared her perspective on surveying your most loyal fans and engaging with them through platforms like Instagram polls and email communication.
Cynthia advises planning from the bottom up, starting with how you want to monetize your audience, then focusing on engagement and finally attracting new people. She suggests executing from the top down, ensuring you have a solid foundation in place before launching new initiatives.
