4 Ways to Increase Visibility with Emily Aborn
SHOW NOTES: Episode 67
Part of being a blogger means being visible to people.
Today, we have Emily Aborn on the show to talk all about visibility and how you can use it to promote your blog and become even more successful. Emily is a content writer for creative women entrepreneurs and helps them unlock their one-a-kind voice and bring it out with creative content and website copywriting that reaches the hearts and minds of those whom they are meant to serve and help.
On today’s episode we define visibility as the bridge between your own goals as a business owner and the goals of the person you are trying to reach.
We chat about new ways we can think about marketing and visibility as business owners, how collaborations are a way to gain visibility, and we share some tips for creating authentic connections and community that feels valuable to your audience. Emily shares about being open to the fact that your content might not be for everyone, how you should infuse more personality into your content to set you apart from everyone else, and how the more you are open and vulnerable, the more you’re going to build authentic connections.
We also talk about the importance of being consistent with your voice and tone in your branding so your content is recognizable, and how you should be realistic with yourself and know what your capacity is so that you can create a cadence of consistency and frequency that your audience will learn to expect. Emily shares how you can take your content and utilize it in many ways to keep visibility on your blog posts, how you can be creative with the way you provide content to your audience based on their needs so you can serve them better, and how it is important to infuse joy into how you make yourself visible because your audience can tell when you are being truly authentic.
We also briefly talk about how Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools are being used to create more content and how it is a great tool to help with ideation but there still needs to be a human component to all content so that it feels genuine and authentic.
This conversation with Emily has been enlightening and we hope that you learn that visibility is approachable. We want to hear how this episode helped you! Let’s continue the conversation over on Instagram (@sparkmediaconcepts). We’d love to hear from you!
